RARE APPEARANCE OF THE Xbox 360 Mascot at “Xbox Night” IN 2010
"Xbox Night” was an event held by Microsoft at Klínex Miyagi Stadium, Japan, on May 21st, 2010 during a baseball game between the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and the Tokyo Yomiuri Giants.
The rarely seen XBOX 360 mascot, San Roku Maru made an appearance and threw the first pitch that went straight into the catcher's mitt without a bounce. Microsoft executive Takashi Sensui described it as "a straight ball that drew the future of Xbox 360."
San Roku Maru (三六〇丸) — san (三) = three, roku (六) = six, zero/maru (〇) = zero — so it literally reads out the digits 3-6-0, meaning "360."
Attendees who were registered StaPass Mobile members could win an Xbox 360 Elite Value Pack through a lottery, with winners notified by email after each inning.
